What is an announcement?

• Senior Announcements are the formal and socially accepted way to share with family and friends the once-in-a-lifetime achievement of graduating from High School. *Please note, it is NOT an invitation to the actual Commencement Ceremony

 

When will I receive my announcements?

• Announcements begin shipping in early spring and are processed in the order in which they are received. Due to the custom nature of announcements, orders take approximately 4 weeks to process once the order is placed and we begin shipping. Your order will be shipped to the mailing address entered when you placed your order.

 

How do I measure my student for their Cap & Gown?

• Cap & Gowns sizes are determined by the student’s height and weight.

 

What if I missed the senior order event at my school?

• All products, including cap and gown, can be ordered online. Return to the home page and select Graduation Products.

 

I placed my order online and didn’t receive an order confirmation?

• First check your spam/junk folder.
• Second check your bank/credit card to make sure the charge went through.
• If the charge didn’t go through, then your order has not been placed.

 

I placed my ordered with a representative at school. When will my order be entered in the system?

• If you placed your order at an in-school ordering event it can take 7-14 business days for your order to be entered into our system.
• Once your order is entered into our system, you will receive an email confirmation with the order details.  Please review your order at that time and let us know if there are any errors.

 

When will I get my senior order?

• Cap and Gowns: Cap and gowns are delivered in the spring and distributed on campus, they are not mailed. You will be notified in the spring about the date of your cap and gown delivery. (Cap and gowns for Georgia Cyber Academy and Fulton Virtual Academy are mailed in the spring.)

• Apparel and Keepsakes: If you place your order at an in-school ordering event, most items are delivered at that time. A few items such as Proud Parent apparel and our Baseball Jersey are mailed from our office. If you place your order online, your items will be mailed within 5-7 business days.
• Diploma Plaques: Plaques ordered by January 1st will be delivered at your cap and gown delivery event. Orders placed after that date will be mailed to your home address. Orders placed after February 15th may not arrive prior to your graduation ceremony. (Please note, Diploma Plaques are a keepsake. The distribution of your formal legal diploma is handled by your school.)
• Frames: Frames are shipped in the spring to your home address.

 

What if my student forgot to pick up their cap and gown at school during the in-school delivery event?

• Some schools will have a second delivery date, while others will have only one main delivery. If the cap and gown is not picked up at one of the scheduled delivery date(s), the next available time to pick up your cap and gown will be on the day of graduation at the venue. There are a select few schools that will handle distribution of gowns by school staff, however, most are handled by our representatives. To receive your gown before graduation you must plan to attend one of the on campus delivery events.

 

I placed an order with a deposit, how do I pay the balance?

• Payments can be made online at herffjonesgrad.com. Cash and money order payments are also accepted during our in-school order days. Balances are due by February 1st.
• All balances, including class ring and letter jacket balances, must be paid in full before a student may receive their cap and gown.

 

What is your Return Policy?

• Items must be returned within 30 days of receiving the product and must be unused and in original packaging. No refunds after your graduation date. No refunds on personalized products such as announcements, diploma plaques etc.
